Originally from a small town in North Carolina, Emily Kate brings an eclectic mix of sounds to her vocals. She always had a passion for music, and after college she left the comfort of her hometown to pursue a career as a singer/songwriter in Music City, Nashville, Tennessee. With influences ranging all over the musical spectrum from country, bluegrass and Americana, to rock and roll, as well as soul and blues, you are sure to find a variety of music and a unique sound when you watch her perform.
Vince Alten, a singer/songwriter currently based in Nashville TN, is somewhere between the Nashville and Texas Country sounds. After spending eight years in the US Air Force as an air traffic controller, the veteran turned performer made his way from New Mexico to Tennessee in the hopes of being able to continue his life-long dream of a career in music. Armed with true country lyrics, his piano, and a country/rock/blues sound, VA hopes to inspire and connect with fans all over the world.
Emily and Vince met on Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee. The first time they performed together, Emily was preparing to play one of her weekly shows in one of the honky tonks, when she met Vince, a piano player who was new to town and looking for work. After allowing him to sit in and play with her and her gig partner that day, the two continued to work together, and formed a special relationship both on and off the stage. Although they present themselves as individual artists, you will rarely find these two apart. Together, they put on a high energy show that is sure to entertain a vast variety of audiences.
