Halson Griffiths hails from Detroit Michigan and was raised with equal doses of Loretta Lynn and Bob Seger. Moving to Nashville in 2003, Griffiths has played with acts such as Will Hoge, Keith Anderson, Love and Theft, Ashton Sheppard, Jared Ashley, and Crystal Shawanda. He has also produced records for Anthony Orio and Tera Lynne Fister and has 2 solo efforts of his own the latest being 2021‘s LIME LAKE ROAD.
His current project, HIGHHORSE, is a guitar based rock’n’soul band with Griffiths taking the
front man position, and being joined by Adrian Flores, Johnny Stanton (The Steelwoods), and
Tyler Powers (The Steelwoods). Dueling les Paul’s and deep deep rock and country are the
roots of their sound, where you are just as likely to hear Faron Young as you are Led Zeppelin. They play every Sunday night at John Rich’s Redneck Riviera in Nashville Tennessee from 6pm-10pm and are currently working on their first record.
